If your idea of science fun is playing with magnetic iron filings, then you need to up your game to Newton Prep levels... Sir Isaac himself couldn't have had more fun than the Year 8s this morning, as they combined aluminium powder with iron oxide powder to make aluminium oxide, molten iron and over 2,000 degrees C of heat!
