The first day of Christmas has come earlier than usual this year, with the triumphant performance of the Year 2 Nativity Play this afternoon.
Parents and staff were entranced by confident renditions, a witty script, a glittering set, spectacular costumes, great tunes and a stellar cast. There may have been only one star over the stable, but there were nearly 80 on the auditorium stage!
"I was nearly in tears by the last number," said a delighted Miss Hayward, who accompanied the songs on the piano. "It was just a brilliant group effort"
A huge well done to all the children, to the form teachers, teaching assistants and drama/music staff and to the shepherds,sheep, Wise Men, angels, innkeepers, villagers, Christmas jumpers and Holy Family
