During the Easter holidays 43 Year 5 & 6 pupils visited Sorrento and the surrounding areas of the Bay of Naples. The children were lucky enough to explore the ancient ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, and enjoyed a day trip to the Isle of Capri. On the last day we climbed Mount Vesuvius; a tough climb but well worth it for the view at the top!
The children were immaculately behaved and wonderful ambassadors for the school. The teachers and guides were very impressed both with their knowledge and with their enthusiasm to learn more about ancient Roman life.
