Trips & Visits

Each subject studied at Newton Prep is enhanced through the variety of trips and visits we provide for the children. Each Year Group visits a number of places of interest throughout the academic year, the cost of most day trips being included in school fees.

We make the most of our central London location by regularly attending new exhibitions at museums, galleries, and theatres. All trips are planned with the children’s enjoyment, engagement and safety in mind. We are also lucky enough to attract a glittering array of speakers, visiting authors, persons of interest and specialist companies and workshop providers.

Learning at Newton Prep is not confined to the classroom. Our rich programme of trips and visits supports and enhances the curriculum across all year groups, offering pupils a wide range of opportunities to explore, inquire, and discover the world around them.

Each trip and visit is carefully chosen to complement the curriculum and to offer pupils the chance to experience something new, whether that’s an ancient ruin, a natural habitat, a challenge in the outdoors, or simply a day of hands-on discovery.
