Flying the flag for the growth of rugby at Newton Prep, Year 6's Sam B had an amazing experience recently, at last month's Big Game 7 at Twickenham. Sam was lucky enough to actually play on the hallowed turf at Twickenham, having been selected for the Battersea Ironsides U11 team that played versus Teddington U11s before the big game. Not only was it an experience never to be forgotten by Sam (pictured left, with his dad, and below, with his team) but it was a sporting triumph witnessed by our Sports Director Miss King, who was attending the game and was able to cheer him on!
