Monday assembly to launch NSPCC spelling sprint

Children, parents and willing relatives are all getting ready for our NSPCC spelling sprint, to be launched in Monday's assembly with a special presentation from NSPCC and Buddy, the NSPCC 'it's good to talk' mascot/speech bubble. 

Newton is raising money for NSPCC with a school-wide spelling challenge, with lists of words set by the English department - adding up to a potential total of 100 points on which to be sponsored.

A special spelling test will be staged during the week commencing 10th November. Sponsorship forms and money should be returned by Monday 17th November.
